In our usual use of solid state relay process, there will always be a lot of confusion. However, due to the lack of specific solutions, some problems can not be solved. The following is a brief description of some problems:
What is the reason that solid state relay doesn't work?
There are many reasons for the failure of solid-state relay. In most cases, failure to work means that it cannot be connected or turned off. Generally, the failure of solid-state relay is due to incorrect installation. If your solid-state relay fails, first check the operating parameters of the solid-state relay to ensure that the solid-state relay is suitable for the system and installed correctly.
There are three common reasons for the failure of solid state relay
1. The solid state relay is not damaged due to overheating for a long time.
2. Inadequate protection, semiconductors are not as robust as simple metal contacts. Damage can also occur when the reverse voltage exceeds the PRV level of the solid state relay.
3. Voltage spikes in switching circuits may be the effect of inductance, damaging one or more internal switchgear. Remember to use shock absorbers, diodes, or rectifier diodes when carrying large inductive loads.
Incorrect installation of solid state relay:
The solid state relay does not have a large enough radiator installed or no heat transfer element is used to overheat the solid state relay. If the load end is not fastened properly, the relay arc or heat will be generated.
