Metallic materials - high temperature tensile test method what is its test principle and test equipment?

1、 Test principle:
At the specified temperature, tensile force is applied to the specimen, generally to fracture, and one or more tensile mechanical properties defined in Chapter 3 are determined.
2、 Test equipment:
1. Testing machine:
The accuracy of the product should be better than 1.25 grade of GB standard.
2. Extensometer:
The accuracy level of extensometer shall meet the requirements of GB / T 12160. When using extensometer to measure elongation, for upper and lower yield strength and specified non proportional elongation strength, extensometers with accuracy no less than grade 1 shall be used; when measuring specimens have large elongation performance, extensometers with accuracy no less than grade 2 can be used.
The gauge distance of the extensometer should not be less than 10 mm, and should be placed in the middle of the parallel length of the sample. It is suggested that the double-sided extensometer which can measure the elongation of two sides of the specimen should be preferred.
The design of the extensometer extending out of the heating device should be able to prevent the interference of air flow, so as to minimize the influence of the change of ambient temperature on the extensometer. It is better to keep the temperature and air flow velocity around the testing machine properly stable.
3. Heating device:
3.1 allowable temperature deviation
The heating device shall be capable of heating the sample to the specified temperature.. The allowable temperature deviation and temperature gradient are shown in Table 2.
Note: temperature gradient refers to the fixed temperature difference along the axial direction of the specimen generated by heating device, etc.

The soaking zone of the heating device shall not be less than twice the gauge length of the sample.
For the test higher than 1000 ℃, the allowable temperature deviation shall be determined by both parties concerned through negotiation.
08I means that the surface temperature of the specimen shall be kept at the specified temperature during the measurement.
4. Temperature measuring device:
The minimum resolution of the temperature measuring device is 1 ℃, and the allowable error should be within ± 0.0048 ℃ or ± 2 ℃, the larger value should be taken. The thermocouple shall meet the requirements of JJG 141 and JJG 351, and shall not be lower than grade 2.
5. Inspection of temperature measurement system:
The temperature measurement system shall be inspected within the test temperature range, and the inspection period shall not exceed 3 months. If the temperature measurement system can be automatically calibrated every day, or the past continuous inspection has shown that the measuring device can meet the requirements of this standard without adjustment, the calibration period can be extended, but not more than 12 months. The error shall be recorded in the inspection report. The corresponding verification regulations shall be adopted for inspection.
